* Bemaltes Vellum auf Karten und Layouts / Painted vellum backgrounds *

heute möchte ich einen etwas anderen Hintergrund für Karten und Layouts zeigen, nämlich bemaltes Vellum (Transparentpapier). Ich habe das vor einiger Zeit bei einer Workshop-Vorbereitung ausprobiert und finde den Effekt sehr schön. Man benötigt lediglich Wasserfarben und einen Pinsel. 

today I want to show you how to use painted vellum to create amazing backgrounds for cards and layouts. I tried this when I was preparing a workshop last year and I really like the effect. You just need watercolors and a paintbrush.

Ich habe mein  Vellum in Blau-und Grüntönen bemalt und dann passend zur Kartengröße zugeschnitten und auf meine Karte geklebt. Darüber habe ich ein weiteres Stück Cordstock gesetzt, in das ich zuvor mit einem Stanzer zwei runde Fenster gestanzt habe. Dekoriert habe ich die Karte dann noch mit Stanzteilen und Pailletten.

I painted my vellum in different shades of blue and green , cut out a piece in the size of my card and adhered it. On top of it I adhered a second piece of cardstock with two windows made with a circle punch. Then I decorated my card with diecuts and some sequins.

der erste April ist da und das heißt, es gibt wieder einen neuen Sketch in der Inspirationsgalerie der Scrapbook Werkstatt.

In diesem Monat kommt der Sketch von Anna.

* Happy Moments - Pinkfresh Studio Be You *

Hi there,

In meinem letzten Designteam Paket von der Scrapbook Werkstatt waren die wunderschönen Kollektionen *Be You* und *Let your heart decide* von Pinkfresh Studio. Beide Kollektionen beinhalten Papiere in tollen Farben und Designs, sowie viele verschiedene Embellishments.

Ich möchte heute ein Layout zeigen, das ich mit der *Be You* Kollektion gemacht habe.

With my last Scrapbook Werkstatt Designteam package I got the new Pinkfresh Studio collections *Be You* and *Let your heart decide*. Both collections come with papers in beautiful designs and colors and many different embellishment packs. Today I want to share a layout made with the *Be You* collection.

Fü das Layout habe ich (bis auf den schmalen Streifen hinter dem Foto) nur ein Papier verwendet.

Ich habe erst sämtliche Blüten ausgeschnitten und die grün-weiße Rückseite als Hintergrund genommen. Um das Foto herum habe ich dann ein paar Diecuts und Sticker arrangiert.

For this layout I used just one patterned paper (plus the small piece of paper behind the picture).

I cut out all the flowers and used the green and white back side for my background.

Then I placed some diecuts and stickers around my picture.

*Lora Bailora - Arrexmas *

Hi there,

ich habe heute zwei Layouts für euch, die ich mit der schönen Serie Arrexmas von Lora Bailora gemacht habe. Ihr findet sie hier im Shop der Scrapbook Werkstatt.

Eigentlich ist es ja eine Weihnachtskollektion, aber es sind auch etliche neutrale Papiere und Embellishments dabei, die auch gut zu anderen Themen passen.

today I want to share two layouts made with the beautiful Arrexmas collection  designed by Lora Bailora. You can find the collection here in the Scrapbook Werkstatt shop.

It is a Christmas collection but there are also  papers and embellishments that can be used for other themes.

Mein erstes Layout ist ein Weihnachtliches . Den witzigen Baumschmuck habe ich mal in einer Weihnachtsausstellung fotografiert, weil ich es zwar nicht kaufen wollte, es aber so witzig fand. Ich finde, die frischen Farben der Kollektion passen gut dazu.

My first layout is a Christmas layout with a picture of a funny ornament I found in a shop. I didn't buy it, but I had to take a picture. I love the fresh colors of the collection in combination with the picture.

Mein zweites Layout ist nicht weihnachtlich. Hier habe ich eher neutrale Papiere und Embellishments benutzt. Wie man sieht, geht auch das sehr gut. 

The second layout is not a Christmas themed one. I used some neutral papers and embellishments  and I really like how it turned out.

Ich muss sagen, mir gefällt die Serie sehr gut und demnächst gibt es noch mehr davon zu sehen.

* Scrapbook Werkstatt Novemberkit *

das Novemberkit der Scrapbook Werkstatt ist im Shop und kann bestellt werden. Daher möchte ich hier die ersten Layouts zeigen, die damit entstanden sind. Im Kit enthalten sind etliche Papiere aus der *Escape the Ordinary* Kollektion von Pinkfresh Studio, die ich besonders mag.

two days ago was reveal day and the Scrapbook Werkstatt November kit ca be ordered now.

So it's time to share some of the layouts I made with it. The kit contains some papers and embellishments from the Pinkfresh Studio *Escape the Ordinary* collection which I really like.

Ich habe hier Cutfiles benutzt und mit den Kitpapieren hinterlegt.

I used some cutfiles and backed them with the kit papers.

Noch ein herbstliches Layout.

Passend zum Foto habe ich hier mit Schablone und Strukturpaste einen Mauerhintergrund gestaltet.

Another Fall themed layout. This one got a wall background made with a stencil and modeling paste.

Hier haben sich Papier und Foto förmlich gesucht und gefunden, oder?

* Dezember Minialbum *

Hi there,

du liebst December Dailies, aber du hast zu wenig Zeit oder Fotos, um ein ganzes Album zu füllen? Wie wäre es dann hiermit: ein Notebook mit nur ein paar ausgewählten weihnachtlichen Themen, wie Deko, Weihnachtsmarkt, Wunschzettel, Weihnachtsbaum...

Ich habe eins mit Fotos vom letzten Jahr gemacht. Benutzt habe ich dafür die *Night before Christmas* Kollektion von Echo Park, die ihr bei der Scrapbook Werkstatt bekommt.

you love the idea of a December Daily but you think you can't fill a whole album? Maybe you should try this: a notebook with just a few special Christmas themes like decoration, wish list, visiting a Christmas market, the tree. I made this one with pictures from last year and the Echo Park *Night before Christmas * collection, which is available  in the Scrapbook Werkstatt shop.

I cut out some packages and toys from one of the papers.
